I received $98.61 in taxable May 2019 dividend income. Almost to the $100 mark! It’s actually an illusion since I have ACN which pays out twice per year, which inflates my May months but doesn’t affect my Februarys. I’m still in buckle-down mode as a full-time student, but it is nice that I get almost $100 to reinvest this month.
Dividend Growth

No spectacular raises this month. I would love a savings account that paid ~6%, so I will gladly take these raises. CL is lagging a bit. They were one of my first purchases, but I haven’t added to them since and they are now my second-smallest holding.
I’d have to invest $258 at my current 2.32% portfolio yield to increase my income this much.
Forward Dividend Income

Purchases – AVY
Purchased 1 share of Avery Dennison (AVY) @ $100.23/share
AVY is one of my newest holdings, and I’m glad to bolster it a bit more. I like their presence in packaging and see them as one of my top 10 holdings for at least the near future.
Head on over to my portfolio page if you’d like to see what companies pay me in other months!
Oooh, so close to $100. It’s only a matter of time now, and it will be a regular occurrence.
I see you have both PG and CL. Any thoughts of comparing the two companies and consolidating on one of them?
I see your raises picked up a bit in May compared to April. I like it!
